PacersToastmasters is one of the oldest community clubs in New York City. As a community club in midtown Manhattan, we are open to all interested parties. We are Club 2608, Area 41, Division D, District 46 of Toastmasters International.

PacersToastmasters is a non-profit organization providing a service to our community to help men and women learn the arts of speaking, listening, and thinking--vital skills that promote self-actualization, enhance leadership potential, foster human understanding, and contribute to the betterment of mankind.
*Please note: All Prepared Speeches and their Evaluations are digitally video recorded and edited as a courtesy to our members. This adds an additional layer of value to every speech we complete and allows us to improve and grow as speakers.

Due to maintenance work that is being done at the SONY theater in August, our Aug 11 (Monday) and Aug 26 (Tuesday) meetings will be held in "939, Eighth Avenue (Bet. 55th & 56th Streets)", which is only four blocks away from the SONY theater. The meeting room is on the third floor (3A), and there will be a piano and mirrored walls. It will be an interesting experience.
The venue/meeting space is a stadium-seating digital theater, close to MoMA, Trump Tower, Niketown, and other midtown Manhattan landmarks and shopping. Please see our Directions for details.

The mission of the Toastmaters Club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop and practice communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth.

At Toastmasters, members learn by speaking to groups and working with others in a supportive environment. The Pacers Toastmasters club has more than 30 members and meets for an hour and fourty-five minutes twice a month.
Each meeting gives everyone an opportunity to practice conducting meetings, giving impromptu speeches, presenting prepared speeches, and offering constructive evaluation.
Whether you're speaking to the board of directors, your customers, your co-workers or your kids, Toastmasters can help you do it better. You'll learn and practice in a friendly, comfortable environment with people who are there for the same reason you areto become better communicators.
*Please see our Meeting Structure for more specific information on what to expect from a Pacers Toastmasters meeting.
